When an user opens the Self Service site and he/she is enabled for password enrollment, is it posible to disable the automatic popup but still be able to enroll? This way the user can deside him/herself when to enroll without seeiing the "enoying popup" if they don't want to.

Thnx Remco

Update 2018

Starting with version 2018.1, it is possible to disable the enrollment popup. For details, have a look at section Web interface of the following tutorial: https://www.adaxes.com/tutorials_SelfService_ConfigurePasswordSelfService.htm#webinterface.

Original

Hello Remco,

Currently, the popup cannot be disabled without completely disabling the Password Self-Service component of the Web interface, but by the next release we'll make it so that if a user clicks Later, the Web Interface will not nag them again for 4 hours.

Hello,

Starting from Adaxes 2014.1 released yesterday, you can disable the enrollment prompt completely or configure how often it will appear. You can download the latest build here.

Upgrade Instructions.

For a complete list of new features and improvements, see What's New.

To configure options for the enrollment prompt:

  1. On the computer, where the Web Interface is installed, start the Web Interface Customization tool.
  2. In the Interface type drop-down list, select the Web Interface you want to configure.
  3. Activate the Components tab.
  4. Click the Configure Password Self-service button.

Note that you can configure options for the enrollment prompt only when the Password Self-Service component of the Web Interface is enabled.
  5. Configure options for the enrollment prompt in the lower part of the Password Self-Service Options dialog.
