Hi,
We're running Adaxes 2013.1.
Currently we have the Self Service website disabled, but we would like to enable it for self password change and self password reset.
We will leave the windows login screen feature disabled and provide a link for the Self Service website.
In testing we discovered that after a user resets his/her password they can sign out of the Self Service website, then sign back into the website with either their old or their new password for a period of approximately 10 minutes. We can recreate this behaviour.
Can you explain why this is happening?
Can we configure Adaxes so the password change from the Self Service website is immediate?
Thank you

Hello,

Such behavior is by Active Directory design. After a user's password is changed in AD, Active Directory allows to use the old password for some time until the new password gets propagated all across the AD.
