To transfer a domain operations master role:
Launch the Adaxes Administration Console.
In the Console Tree, expand the node of the Adaxes service that manages the AD domain for which you want to transfer the operations master role (the
icon represents service nodes).
Expand
Active Directory.
Right-click the domain you need, point to All Tasks, and click Domain Operations Masters.
Select the tab for the role you need. For example, to transfer the RID master role, select the RID tab.
Click Change.
Select the domain controller to transfer the selected role to and click OK.
Click Close.
To transfer a forest operations master role:
Launch the Adaxes Administration Console.
In the Console Tree, expand the node of the Adaxes service that manages an AD domain located in the forest for which you want to transfer the operations master role (the
icon represents service nodes).
Expand
Active Directory.
Right-click the domain located in the forest you need, point to All Tasks, and click Forest Operations Masters.
Select the tab for the role you need. For example, to transfer the Domain Naming master role, select the Domain Naming tab.
Click Change.
Select the domain controller to transfer the selected role to and click OK.
Click Close.
