To rename an object:
Using Adaxes Administration ConsoleLaunch the Adaxes Administration Console.
In the Console Tree, expand the service node, in which you want to rename an object (the
icon represents service nodes).
Right-click the object you need and click Rename.

| If the Rename command is disabled, renaming of this object is forbidden by system flags. |
In the edit box, type a new name.
Press Enter to accept or Esc to cancel the change.

| If you are renaming a user, group or contact, you will be offered to modify other properties related to the object name. |

| Computers cannot be renamed via Administration Console. To rename a computer, log on to this computer, right-click My computer, click Properties > Computer Name tab, then click the Change button, type the new computer name and click OK. |
Using Adaxes Web InterfaceLog in to the Adaxes Web Interface.
Click the Browsing tab in the top navigational menu.
Click the domain that contains the object you want to rename, and then select this object.

Click Browse above the list of managed domains, select the container in which the object you need is located, and then click this object in the list displayed.
At the page that opens, click Rename in the header panel command menu.

Enter the object new name and click Rename button.
