Modifying Security Role Permissions

To modify Security Role Permissions:

Launch the Adaxes Administration Console.
In the Console Tree, expand the service node, in which you want to modify a Security Role (the icon represents service nodes).
Expand Configuration / Security Roles.
Select the Security Role you want to modify.
To add a permission:
- Click Add button above the Permissions list.
  Tip
  You can also click the arrow inside the Add button to add permissions for common predefined tasks.
- In the Add Permission dialog box that opens, specify the object types to apply permissions to. By default, all object types are selected. To apply permissions to selected object types only, click the Only selected object types radio button and check the object types you need.
  Tip
  To view the whole list of available object types, check Show all objects types below.
- Specify the appropriate permissions and click OK.

To edit a permission:
- Right-click the permission you want to edit in the Permissions list.
- Select Edit... from the context menu.
- Edit the selected permission in the dialog box that opens and click OK.
To delete a permission, right-click it and select Delete from the context menu.
When finished, click Save changes below the Assignments list.
