Launch the Adaxes Administration Console.

In the Console Tree, expand the service node that contains the object, for which you want to view effective Security Roles (the icon represents service nodes).

To view Security Roles effective for an Active Directory object, expand Active Directory / <domain>.

To view Security Roles effective for a configuration object, expand Configuration node and the container in which the object you need is located.

Right-click the object, for which you want to view effective Security Roles, and click Properties in the context menu.

In the Properties dialog box that opens, click Effective Objects tab.

Click Security Roles....

The Security Roles affecting this object are displayed.

	Tip
	Disabled Security Roles are not displayed.

	Tip
	You can also edit assignments of Security Roles that affect this object. To do so, select a Security Role and click Edit Role Assignments.... The assignments affecting this object are higlighted in yellow.

When finished, click Close and then click OK.
