What is Upgrade Protection?
Softerra is continually delivering new versions of its Softerra Adaxes. Our latest 2011.3 release is issued, and more are planned for the coming months. New versions are developed when there is a set of new features and enhancements to offer based on customer feedback and suggestions. The Upgrade Protection policy makes it easier for you to acquire and deploy the latest software releases.
Save your time and money
Maintenance and Support entitles you to receive new Softerra Adaxes versions that are released during the term of your Maintenance and Support coverage at no additional cost. Maintenance and Support greatly saves your time since you no longer need to go through the procurement procedure every time new Softerra Adaxes version is issued. Please refer to the table below to review the cost of Annual Maintenance and Support for each Package Type.
The license is issued for the number of enabled and not expired user accounts in Active Directory.

Term
Maintenance and Support is valid for one calendar year (365 days) from the date of purchase.
Maintenance and Support can only be acquired for the latest version of Softerra Adaxes.
If you purchase Maintenance and Support within 21 days after:
- your purchase of the current Softerra Adaxes version
OR
- your previous Maintenance and Support termination,
your license is automatically upgraded to the latest Softerra Adaxes version (if any) FREE OF CHARGE.

If you purchase Upgrade Protection within 21 days after:
