Change Service Mail Settings

To change outgoing mail settings used by the service:

  1. Launch the Adaxes Administration Console.

  2. Right-click the service, for which you want to change SMTP settings (the icon represents service nodes).

  3. Click Properties in the context menu.

  4. Click the Mail Settings tab and change SMTP settings as follows:

    SMTP Server: Specify the address of an outgoing mail server the service will use to send email messages.

    Port: Specify the mail server port. The default value is 25.

    This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL): Check this box if the SMTP server requires Security Socket Layer (SSL) encrypted connection to send email messages.

    This server requires authentication: Check this box if the SMTP server requires authentication. In this case, you need to provide user name and password.

    From (email): Specify the mail address that will be used as sender address of the service email messages.

  5. To check the specified settings, click the Test Setting... button and type an email address to send a test message to.

  6. Click OK.
