Add user to a group based on a custom field

Is it possible to add a user to a group based on hardware ? There are users with a Windows device and a MacOS device. I want to be able to choose this when creating the user via Adaxes and automatically link them to a specific group based on the chosen hardware.

You can use the following approach:

• Configure a custom text attribute (e.g. CustomAttributeText1) to be displayed as a drop down with the hardware options: https://www.adaxes.com/help/MakeInputFieldDropDownList.
• Customize the attribute display name: https://www.adaxes.com/help/CustomizePropertyDisplayNames.
• Add the attribute to the user creation form: https://www.adaxes.com/help/CustomizeFormsForUserCreationAndEditing.
• Create a business rule that will add users to the corresponding group based on the attribute value. For example:
