For nearly 40 years, Great Expressions Dental Centers (GEDC) has been a leader in preventative dental care, orthodontics and specialty care with local offices in Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas and Virginia. One of the largest privately owned dental service organizations in the United States, GEDC is consistently recognized for contributions to improving oral health through quality and safety initiatives, affordable dental care services, patient convenience, research and more.

Challenge

Prior to Adaxes, we incorporated a series of "home grown" web tools and scripts along with the built in Microsoft management tools for management and user provisioning. While some of the tasks were automated, manual data entry was still required as certain attributes were retrieved from other in house systems. We needed a product at will provide a centralized Active Directory management platform with workflow and automation to help us streamline provisioning and de-provisioning of user accounts.

Solution

Once Adaxes was installed and configured, we were able to completely revamp and automate the new user provisioning and de-provisioning process. As an added bonus, the password reset UI allowed us to immediately reduce our monthly ticket count by 10%.
