Hi guys,

We are currently implementing a global HRIS system based on SAP SuccessFactors (SaaS application). This product is provided with a native AD integration (based on BOOMI), but, to be honest, it represents a major backward step, since Adaxes is now the cornerstone of our global infrastructure process.

So basically the idea is to connect SAP Successfactors (SaaS) to Adaxes to drive users's lifecycle.
More specifically, when a user is created/updated in HR system, it should send the info to Adaxes, which will then create/update the AD user.

Since, it appears complicated to connect SAP SF to Adaxes (through Adaxes web services), we would like to connect Adaxes to SAP API/web services (SOAP or ODATA).

Do you have any clue about that ?
What would be the best way to proceed ? PS Scripts ?

Thanks in advance for your help

Hello,

Unfortunately, all documents regarding integration with external systems is password-protected on the SAP SuccessFactors web site. As we are not their customers, we cannot review it in order to provide any grounded opinion. If you have access to such documentation, can you provide it for review?

Hello,

Thank you so much for your reply.
Yes I have some documentation downloaded from SAP documentation repository. How can I send you these documents ? Email is good ?

This project is a very good opportunity for us to promote even more Adaxes globally in our company. That's why your help is (as usual :) ) much appreciated

Hello,

It looks like it is possible to connect to the SuccessFactors database using an ODBC driver. So, we suggest creating a Scheduled Task that will poll the database for user information and update Active Directory. The task will need to use the driver, so it will run a PowerShell script.

For an example on how to configure the driver, see the following article: https://support.sisense.com/hc/en-us/co ... essFactors. For samples on how to get data using it, see information on the driver web site: http://www.cdata.com/drivers/odata/odbc/. For information on how to update Active Directory based on data from a database, see the following example in our Script Repository: http://www.adaxes.com/script-repository ... e-s249.htm.

If you find difficulty making the script, we can make you a small sample.
