what are the differences between browse and search, why do both options exist?
is there any technical architecture documentation or diagrams which show how various concepts vary or work?

Sorry for the confusion, but we are not quite sure what your question is about. Those are two separate unrelated features. Browsing allows you to navigate through the directory. Search allows you to find objects based on the specified criteria.
There are no such diagrams as each Adaxes environment is unique in its own way depending on the customer setup. However, you can have a look at the diagrams in the installation guide: https://www.adaxes.com/help/InstallationGuide.
As title indicates, searching or browsing a group doesnt show its members. However, when I choose a modify group function, for that same logged in user, the group members ... or explicit filters to viewing members that I can see. What could be causing this?
