The Adaxes Script Repository used to have two related scripts "Get custom value stored in Adaxes configuration" and "Store data in Adaxes configuration". These scripts seem to have been removed. Is this technique no longer recommended?

I found the old scripts using archive.org: https://web.archive.org/web/20230323135719/https://www.adaxes.com/script-repository/get-custom-value-stored-in-adaxes-configuration-s431.htm

Hello Carl,

The scripts were removed because the approach no longer works. You can only use AD objects. For example, it can be a managed domain as they rarely have custom attributes populated.
