Account options are not hidden

Hi team,

for our portal we have the following settings

Opening a user I see the following details

If I click on Edit (1) I still see the option

If I use the other Edit (2) action the option is hidden

How can we ensure, both edit modes and views show only the relevant fields?

Hello,

The behavior is by design and there is no possibility to achieve exactly what you need. As an option, you can just disable the Edit button for the section containing the Account Options property on the View form.

There are currently no such plans. As another option, you can just disable the Edit operation. This way, only the Edit button will be available on the View form.

The views are correct. You configure two forms separately and they can have different properties/flags. The Edit option is directly related to the View form and enabled for sections in it specifically. The option does not have anything to do with the Modify form.
