I'm trying to rearchitect my Business Units, and I'd like to see if I can export the rules on the current business units in a simple format so I can reorganize them and create new ones. Or at least get the rules and go from there.
Hello,
Unfortunately, there is no simple and reliable way to export business unit membership rules in a human-readable format. However, it is possible to retrieve the rules using a PowerShell script. Unfortunately, there are no such scripts in our repository. If you decide to try writing your own script, the following SDK article should be helpful: https://www.adaxes.com/sdk/ManagingBusinessUnits.
We would like to use a script to copy the rules of a ‘Membership type = rule-based’ group and add them to another group. Is this possible? Do you have a script available? Thanks
When setting up a rule based group, GMSA objects are not visible. Is there a setting or view I need to add to make these availabe to rule based groups, or is it simply not an option?
During the creation of a new user I want to be able to select the job title from a drop-down list which populates different values based on which Department is selected. Is there a way to achieve this? Thanks. Dario.
We are working with an HR package that will send us a CSV file every 4 hours with a list of users that need to be created, modified or deleted from our environment. The CSV ... change, etc.) Is there a script that can manage all of that on a scheduled basis?
I'm trying to setup SelfService group management. We have multiple Forests. Because of the Forests we can't add users from a different forest to the ManagedBy. We can add a local ... end up getting all the groups a user is a memberof or nothing at all. :)
