Hi

Is there a possiblity within the Copy User function to automaticly select the same OU as the selected user is in? So that the user that is being created, ends up in the same ou as the user it was copied from?

Hello,

It is currently impossible to achieve what you want exactly. The option to always copy directory objects to the OU of the source object is in our TODO list and will be available in one of the nearest versions.

As a workaround, you may move all newly created users to appropriate OUs based on certain properties. See the Move Newly Created Users to a Specific OU Tutorial for examples on how to achieve such functionality.

Also, you may configure the Copy User Home Page action and limit the choice of possible target OUs that the copied user will be placed to. See step 5 of the Configure Home Page Actions Tutorial for information on how to accomplish that (section Copy Object, Step 4).
