Hello,

I'm looking for a little assistance with configuring the Azure Active Directory Powershell module on our adaxes server. I've went through and installed it following Microsofts instructions ( http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/libr ... tallmodule) and was able to test it's functionality. ( I can connect, authenticate, run reports on the server) Unfortunately, when I attempt to register or manage the tenant in the Adaxes console I receive an error that states I need to install the Powershell module. I'm missing something simple here, but I need help.

Also, what account will be used to connect into office 365? Is it the current account i'm logged into the adaxes console with, or will I be prompted for alternate credentials?

Thanks!

Hello Ben,

What version of Adaxes are you using (32-bit or 64-bit) and what version of the PowerShell module are you using (32-bit or 64-bit)?

We are running Adaxes version 2014.1 and Powershell version 3.0.

Thanks,

Ben,

What about the bit versions? Are you using 32-bit or 64-bit version of Adaxes? Are you using 32-bit or 64-bit version of the Azure PowerShell module?

My apologizes, we're running 64 bit for both. Adaxes is installed on a Windows 2008 R2 server.

Thanks,

Ben,

For troubleshooting purposes, please try the following:

  1. On the computer where Adaxes service is installed, launch the Windows PowerShell console. To do this,

    • Press Win+R.
    • Type powershell.exe.
    • Press Enter.
  2. In the PowerShell console, type:

     Import-Module MSOnline

  3. Press Enter. Does PowerShell manage to successfully load the Azure PowerShell module?

Support,

It appears that I did not fully install the Microsoft Online Services Sign in Assistant and the powershell Module. I followed this guidehttp://www.christiano.ch/wordpress/2012 ... owershell/ to install it but did have to go out and get a beta version of the Online Services Sign in assistant because the powershell module will not install unless you have v. 7.0 or higher. Do not use the link in step 1, navigate here to grab the beta version of the Sign in Assistant http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... x?id=39267.

Thanks for the help!
