We recently had an issue that will require us to change the password of the service account we use for Adaxes. I saw some documentation on changing the service account completely and it required unisntalling Adaxes then reinstalling with the new service account as part of the setup. Is there a way to change the service accounts password without doing that? I would rather not do a complete uninstall/reinstall to change the password if I do not need to.

Hello,

Yes, it is possible. Changing the Adaxes service account password does not require further re-installing of the software. You will need to change the account password in Active directory and then update it for Adaxes service:

  1. On the computer where Adaxes service runs, open Windows Start menu.
  2. Type Services and press Enter.
  3. Right-click Softerra Adaxes Service.
  4. In the context menu, click Properties. image.png
  5. Activate the Log On tab.
  6. Enter and then confirm the new account password in the corresponding fields. image.png
  7. Click OK and restart the service.

We're in the process of setting up self service and the big complaint we are receiving is that the fonts are very small. Is there a CSS file, or configuration setting we can change to make the font larger on the self service site? Thanks!
