Hi,

i have a question about the description of attributes in the webinterface. Is it possible to rename the individual descriptions of the ad attributes in the user creation dialog? For example: if i want to use the AD Attribute "extension Attribute 1" for a specific information about the user like Badge number, is it possible to rename the title of this attribute in the webinterface to "badge number" for a easier understanding?

Best regards
Manuel

Hello Manuel,

Yes, it is possible to specify custom display names for AD object attributes. Please have a look at this article:
Customizing Display Names for AD Properties.

Hi Eugene,

thank you very much for the fast answer to my question!

I found the file an modified it, but if i open the webinterface, the display names are still the same. Do i have to restart a service or something else?

Best Regards
Manuel
