Hello Support,

i've got two questions:

  1. I'd like to integrate the Threema API (https://gateway.threema.ch/de/developer/api) for sending messages instead of sending SMS. Configuration is not a big deal but i also would like to use the Threema ID instead of the mobilenumbers and they contain letters and not only numbers and Adaxes doesn't seem to like that. It returns something like "The mobilenumber "XXXXXX" contains invalid characters". Is there a possibilty to skip the check or to extend the characterset?

  2. Is there a chance to "pre set" the standard front type in the configuartion to a specific front type and size for the exchange automatic reply when using the Adaxes?

Thanks Markus

Hello Markus,

It returns something like "The mobilenumber "XXXXXX" contains invalid characters".

At what moment do you face the error? Please, provide all the steps you take before the error occurs. Also, please, specify what exactly you did in terms of configuration. Screenshots will be much appreciated. You can post them here or send us at support@adaxes.com.

Is there a chance to "pre set" the standard front type in the configuartion to a specific front type and size for the exchange automatic reply when using the Adaxes?

Unfortunately, there is no such possibility.

Here's the Configuration image.png

The Threema ID is saved in CustomAttributeText8.

When i try to send a "SMS" aka Threema Messages, this happens:

Thanks again Markus

Hello Markus,

Thank you for the provided details. This behaviour is by design and there is no workaround for it. Only digits are allowed in phone numbers for SMS delivery. As a solution, you might be able to send messages using Threema ID via a script. However, that is something you will need to check with their support team.

Occasionally we will go over the license user count and have take steps to bring it within compliance. We would like to only see the license violation message in the Admin ... and not in the Help Desk or Self-Service interface. How would we accomplish this?

Is a SMS provider required for sending SMS messages? Currently we send SMS alerts via email address, for example number@vtext.com, number@txt.att.net, etc. We store the addresses in a field in AD.

Hi When reading the REST API documentation it does not mention working directly against Azure AD and Exchange Online. Will this be added? Thanks /Peter Sonander
