Greetings!

Is there a way to be alerted via email and/or SMS when specific AD group changes have been made through the Adaxes web console? Currently I am looking at the second PowerShell script from the Script Repository (http://www.adaxes.com/script-repository ... s-s289.htm), but unfortunately that returns information from the logs on the DC's and not the Adaxes logs. The logs on the DC's do not show the actual technician that made the changes, only the Adaxes service account. Also, I am only looking to monitor a few AD groups, and not all.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hello,

Have a look at the following tutorial: http://www.adaxes.com/tutorials_Automat ... Groups.htm.

In step 3 of the tutorial you will need to select After Adding or removing a member from a Group.

In step 4 of the tutorial you can select Send SMS action instead of Send e-mail notification.

You can have both E-mail and SMS sent, to do so:

  1. After performing step 5 of the tutorial right-click the condition you have created.
  2. Click Add action.
  3. Select Send SMS and customize the SMS notification template in the lower part of the Add Action dialog.
  4. Click OK and proceed with step 6 of the tutorial.

Perfect! Works like a charm! Is there a way to suppress the 'Operation succeeded' notification when the rule does run?

Hello,

It is possible to display suppressed Execution Log if it does not contain any errors or warnings. To do so:

  1. Launch Adaxes Web Interface Customization Tool.
  2. Select the Web Interface type and activate AD Management tab.
  3. Select Only if it contains errors or warnings and click Apply.
