Hello,

I have attempted to google/search for the answer but not really finding a answer to my question.

Is it possible in Adaxes to show a security group with some kind of alternative name?

Instead of something that might be too complicated for a end-user, e.g. T2-MS-SE-STO-GRP-JIRA-PROJECT-READ, it would instead show something like "Jira Reader Role for Microsoft" or something?

Hello Daniel,

Unfortunately, there is no such possibility without changing the group property values. However, you can specify which property to use in the Web interface: https://www.adaxes.com/help/PropertyForDisplayNames.

For any given AD attribute, I'd like to be able to retrieve the defined friendly name for it. Example: l = City, st = State, etc. Is there a way to do that in PowerShell? Thanks!

I would like users to use Adaxes to add themselves or others to a group, but instead of it just working, it has to go thru an approval process and be approved by the group owner before they are added. Thanks!
