Hi!

Is it possible with ADAxess to let our Servicedesk / Helpdesk add users to groups through the webportal, and if the group has a owner - send out a email with approval / deny links in the email from the group owner, and if the group doesnt have a owner just process the change.

Hello Kaj,

Yes, it is possible. Have a look at the following help article: https://www.adaxes.com/help/?ManageAppr ... roval.html. On step 6, select Before Adding a member to a Group.

OK I've selected Group owner as the person who should get the approval. Will this also handle the second case, I'e no group owner, and if so, auto approve the group membership?

Hello Kaj,

You need to add a condition to your Business Rule that will check whether a group has an owner. Finally, the rule will look like the following:
