What is the process if any that adaxes recommends for installing windows updates?

Our current setup -

1 - App server - Adaxes console is installed with Adaxes Backend service and Softerra Adaxes service.

1 - Web Server - Adaxes Web console installed

1 - SQL Server - DB for adaxes

Do we need to shut down the servers in any specific order to help with the integrity of logging to the SQL server? Is there a perferred order when bringing the different adaxes servers back online after updates?

I ask because every month when we restart these servers there are issues getting the adaxes console\service and web console to work again.

The next update window is approaching and we would like some direction if possible.

Hello,

There are no such process/recommendations. Installing Windows updates should not influence Adaxes in any way. If you face any issues, please, describe them in all the possible details with live examples and screenshots of errors/warnings if any.

How can you say that a Windows update will not affect Adaxes in anyway? Some updates change the .NET framework. Some updates change the way IIS works, which Adaxes uses for its web console. Seems very dis-enginous to state, Windows Updates "should not affect adaxes in anyway".

Do you have an Adaxes test environment where you test windows server updates every month?

We'll be updating over 14K accounts with data (adding data to a virtual attribute) using a scheduled task but I don't want the updates to trigger Business Rules and flood the Adaxes log with entries. Is there an easy way to prevent this?
