Create the group-based rule, when you create the user and it is in the group the license will be added.

The question is, if the group is added later to the user, will the O365 license be added?

Hello,

The Business Rule triggering After Creating a User will work only upon user creation. It will not trigger when a user is added to a group or on any other updates.

If you want Office 365 licenses to be assigned/revoked from a user based on group membership, you need to use a Business Rule triggering After Adding or removing a member from a Group and the following script from our repository: https://www.adaxes.com/script-repositor ... p-s302.htm.
