Hey all

Is there anyway you can set up an environment where u allow certain people to access adaxes webinterface and manage certain things themselves?

right now only IT gives permissions to accesses and so on. What I wish to do is to give a certain user/users access to the webinterface and only give certain access to our users. Is this something that can be done? So instead of having full access like an admin she would only be able to give permissions on certain security groups to certain people?

is this possible?

Hello,

There is no possibility to manage Security Roles in Adaxes Web interface. However, you can allow users to manage membership in groups that are specified as trustees for specific roles. As a result, when they add a specific user to a group, the user will gain the permissions granted by the corresponding Security Role. For information on how to grant the permissions to manage group membership, have a look at the following tutorial: https://www.adaxes.com/tutorials_Delega ... ership.htm.

Hello,

Yes, that is correct. For example, you can use the Add to group action. For details about Web Interface actions, have a look at the following tutorial: https://www.adaxes.com/tutorials_WebInt ... nsPane.htm.

Our Microsoft 365 licensing changed recently. All of our end users has a particular license that is no longer valid (ENTERPRISEPREMIUM = Office 365 E5). I need to give everyone that ... the same time, remove the old license. How can this be set up in Adaxes?

We don't think our users read the logs they get after taking actions in the web interface. We'd like to alert a pop up after an action has been taken by a user ... the users with a bunch of emails after every possible action they can take. Any ideas? Thanks!

Good Afternoon, I'm looking for some clarification on what security settings I would need to apply to the Self-Service Users to allow them to update both their own ... accounts they have full access to. Please let me know if this requires more clarification.
