We're experiencing an error opening the Web Interface Customization module. There don't seem to be any relevant posts here, nor can I find any obvious problems in the event log. Looking for guidance on how to troubleshoot this error:
"The Adaxes service is not available. You will not be able to configure custom command operations and actions. The specified configuration set doesn't include any services registered for the 'domain'.

We get secondary errors when trying to configure a website. For example:
In the Configure Column dialog "The Adaxes service is not available. The property list will be empty. You can add a property name manually by clicking Add Extra button."

Hello,

It seems like you've started the Web interface Customization tool with credentials of a user that is not a member of any forests that domains registered in Adaxes belong to. To workaround the issue, try launching the Web interface Customization tool with credentials of Adaxes default service administrator (the user that you specified when installing Adaxes). To do this:

  1. Press Win+R

  2. Type cmd.exe and press Enter.

  3. Type
    runas /username:DOMAIN\User "C:\Program Files\Softerra\Adaxes 3\Web Interface\Softerra.Adaxes.Web.UI.Configuration.exe"

    where:

    • DOMAIN\User - the username of Adaxes default service administrator that you specified during installation of Adaxes,
    • C:\Program Files\Softerra\Adaxes 3\Web Interface\Softerra.Adaxes.Web.UI.Configuration.exe - the full path to the Web interface Customization tool.
  4. Press Enter.
