I have a business rule that is supposed to trigger after changing the logon name of a user. It's working fine in that scenario, but apparently it's also triggering on user creation as well. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Tim

Hello Tim,

Hmm... this shouldn't happen. Can you show a screenshot of your Business Rule and also explain why do you think it has been triggered on user creation?

Also, do you have any Business Rules triggered on user creation that would change the username?

The only Business Rules that are in effect during creation only have to do with home folder creation so they shouldn't be affecting this. I know the rename rule is triggering because it's set to send a specific email to the admin post rename and it's sending during creation as well.

I'm not entirely familiar with what Property Patterns are used for as I'm not the one who originally set this environment up. Can they come in to play here at all? I see we have some configured outside of the defaults. Screenshots below.

Thanks,
Tim
