Just within the last two days when I double-click on a search result in the Adaxes Console, I get a messagebox titled "Find Objects", message "Catastrophic Failure". What causes this to happen?

Hello,

Can you remember, did you do any changes to your environment over the 2 weeks? Maybe, you installed some software on the computer where Adaxes is running or made some configuration changes? Was there anything like that?

Also, can you send us or post here a screenshot of the assemblies that you see in folder C:\Windows\assembly\ on the computer where Adaxes is installed? We need something like this:

Maybe there were some automatic updates pushed, but not that I remember.

Hello,

Do you face any other issues in Administration console?

Also, for troubleshooting purposes, could you do the following:

  1. Select a group in Administration Console tree.
  2. Right-click any member and then click Locate in tree.

Worked fine when I tried that but that led me to the culprit.

I remembered I'd changed the client setting to 'Display child objects...' in the Console; thinking I'd be able to work faster. I checked it, tested and it works fine now. I unchecked it, closed and reopened the client, and it started failing again. I tested a couple times more - checked and unchecked - and the results are consistent. I'll leave it checked.
