After Recent Upgrade - unable to access externally on our Read-Only DC . HTTP Error 500.30

After a recent upgrade I can no longer access our web portal externally - and only get the following. Sometimes it works for a few minutes but then stops.

Adaxes unable to talk with our domain after upgrade to the newest Adaxes version?

I tried two times to update our perfectly working Adaxes instance (2022.1) to the newest version. Update process doesn't show any errors. Same applies for restore of ... service is running fine, so there is clearly some problem with permissions/access. Thanks!

How to have 2 Factor authentication ON or restrict the access to Web Configurator from internal network only ?

We know only service administrators by default are allowed to access the web configurator, however is there any way to restrict that the the web configurator is only available on ... ON 2FA on Web configurator website, like we can on other web interfaces ?

directReports is a system read-only attribute. Script to clear subordinates from manager?

I have made a deprovision custom command. I cannot change the attribute directReports, so was thinking - i could take the people in the directReports field of the manager ... (and its subordinates) that im running the deprovision custom command from. Any tips?
