We have Adaxes 2012 installed on a domain controller and have also installed Adaxes 2013 on another server. We'd like to export all the settings from the DC/ Adaxes 2012 and import into the 2013 version on the non-DC server. Is this possible?

Hello,

This is possible. For this purpose, you can use Adaxes backup/restore feature. Your installation of Adaxes contain a bakup/resotore tool that allows you to backup and restore Adaxes configuration. So, you can back up Adaxes configuration on your DC, transfer the backup files to the computer where you have Adaxes 2013 installed, and then restore the configuration there. For information on how to backup/restore Adaxes configuration, see Backup/Restore Service Configuration.

Pay attention that Adaxes 2012.1 (build 3.3.8815.0) and earlier builds did not backup/restore information on pending Approval Requests, such a possibility appeared in later builds. So, if you have any pending Approval Requests that you want to transfer, you will need to perform additional steps to include the Approval Requests in the backup file. For information, see Upgrade to New Version, 1st step.

Also, if you want to transfer the configuration of your Web Interface, you will also need to backup/restore Adaxes Web Interface configuration. For information on how to accomplish the task, see Backup/Restore Service Configuration.

I'm trying to modify mailbox settings to add additional email addresses to a user after creation. This is a hybrid on-prem and Exchange Online with E5 licenses. Everything works up ... to a different OU during the process so I know the user exists. Any ideas?
