Hello,
Is the product roadmap/backlog public? It would be good to see what features are actively being worked on for future versions.

Regards,

Hello,

No, there is no public roadmap/backlog. However, thank you for the suggestion. We will consider it.

Another suggestion I've seen some other companies do is to host quarterly roadmap (or bi-yearly) conference calls or webinars. Invites sent to registered customers and all customers have to register to join as well. Webinar/call is read/listen only with a very brief Q&A afterwards for questions typed in during webinar. Good way to update those who are interesting without having to keep something posted on your site.

I second this type of update. We are switching our ITSM to ServiceNow and they have a roadmap for the next three years. This would go a long way to keeping the user base interested in product and features.

Hello,

Thank you for the suggestions and examples. We will consider all of them.

Now, because we cannot answer questions about future improvements on our Adaxes "IDM" soluiton - new players has become interesting for the board - CA Identity Manager and NetIQ - which is used by some of our partners.

I will however, be very sad, if we have to switch back to an over-complicated crap JAVA based user management system and become depended on external expensive solution developers and -consulants. But on the other hand - if we cannot meet our board and users requests, then we may not have an option ?

- Thanks

We do understand your concern. There is an internal roadmap and we will consider making it public. Currently we are focused on the next major release and here is a list of new features that will be available in it:

  • A totally new Web Interface adapted for mobile devices.
  • Custom reports tool. It includes creating custom reports that will be available in Adaxes Administration Console and Web Interface.
  • Scheduling reports.
  • Adaxes Web Interface configuration tool will be web based.
  • You will be able to translate/modify almost all UI texts in the Web Interface.
  • It will be possible to restore deleted objects.
  • Else and Else If statements will be available in conditions of Business Rules, Scheduled Tasks and Custom Commands.
  • Setting Skype for Business policies will be available in the Enable for Skype for Business action.
  • You will be able to explicitly specify the execution order of Business Rules that are triggered by the same operation.

if we cannot meet our board and users requests, then we may not have an option ?

Could you be more specific on what exactly you need?

Thanks, sounds good.

"Could you be more specific on what exactly you need?"

I have made several request in the forum :-)

Here is a few:

- WebGUI: Dynamic populated dropdown lists. For example fill it with OU's based on some LDAP filter.

- WebGUI: Home Page Actions visibility depended on the current user's membership of a security group and/or Security Role.

- Support for Powershell above 3.0 and later.

- Pseudo-LDAP searches also including customattributes too - I know you hate that request :-)

- WebGUI: Custom texts (including variables) for approvals etc. the current ones are just to technical for non-technical users !

- A more functional log, that can be read and understood by non-technical users (available on the WebGUI).
-- It's okay if it is not generated automatically, but only during powershell programming.

- Debugging of poweshell scripts (Nice to have).

- WebGUI: Save settings for current user. For example which colunms is choosen in each view.

- More customattributes !

- WebGUI Popup messagebox for communicating with the user. $Context.LogMessage is just too ugly and unusable.
-- It may even include option for the user to select some checkboxes and buttons.

- Thanks

Hello,

Starting from the next major release, Adaxes will support PowerShell 3.0 and later. Also, the Web interface will remember user settings in views (e.g. columns, grouping, etc.).

Thank you for pointing out the other requests. We will consider implementing them in future releases.

Hello,

The new version of Adaxes that supports PowerShell 3.0 and later is available. The Web Interface in the new version remembers user settings in views (e.g. columns, grouping, etc.). You can download the new version here.

I'm trying to retrive the Microsoft 365 License product name in a report as the 'Office 365 License' attribute in Adaxes shows each individual licensed product e.g. ... 365 F3"} } $productnames = $productnames -join ", " $Context.Value = $productnames

We are currently using ManageEngine AD Unlock tool and would like to use the Adaxes version. Our question is can we import the questions and answers for the 8000 plus users already enrolled?
