Hi

In the Management Console we have our Custom Commands in folders to make them easier to find.
How would we replicate this in the Web Console page? The Custom Commands available to the user just appear as a long list under the 'Other' menu. Of course this means the ones we use most frequently are at the bottom... At the least we would like to have this list appear in alphabetical order, we could work with this by standardising our Custom Command names, but what would be even better if the list could be the same as what we have in the Management Console and be sorted neatly in folders.

Thanks in advance :)

Hello,

In our sandbox, we have a request to organize Custom Commands in sub-menus the same as they are organized in containers. We'll consider this request when deciding on features for future releases. For now, you can do the following to improve the situation:

  • Hide unnecessary Custom Commands
If you have certain commands that cannot be executed manually and executed exclusively for Business Rules, Custom Commands and Scheduled Tasks, you can disable them. Disabled Custom Commands are not shown in the Web Interface or in the context menu for AD objects in the Administration Console, but can be executed by Business Rules, Scheduled Tasks and other Custom Commands. How to disable a Custom Command.
  • Organize Custom Commads
If you have certain Custom Commands that you use much more often than the others, you can make such commands available directly on the object view so that you can use them without the need to open the Other submenu.
