Configure secondary encryption in web interface
By default, Adaxes web interface encrypts sensitive data in web requests using RSA-2048, securing them even if you have not configured SSL for Adaxes web interface. This option provides a secondary layer of encryption to certain data, but becomes mostly redundant when you configure SSL and enforce HTTPS for all traffic.
In addition, Adaxes signs web requests to prevent tampering in transit. You may need to disable this feature if you use third-party network security applications or reverse proxies that monitor traffic and inject their own headers, as these modifications break the signature and cause legitimate requests to fail.
To disable the secondary encryption mechanisms:
-
Open Adaxes web interface configurator.

On the computer, where Adaxes web interface configurator is installed, open Windows Start menu.
